I know people (including me) Who don't want huge factions. Now usually this would be fine, Except for the fact the small factions don't get enough power. I have heard people say let it regenerate, I have tried that but the process is to long and doesn't tend to work. I have also heard just make your faction bigger. That also doesn't work because you could have invited a griefer that would grief your land. (even though the rules say not to grief people still do it...) If your like me you play on servers with friends, I like small factions with a few friends. You may say, you should have enough power to claim what is needed. I can prove that's not always right. Me and my friends enjoy building. We don't have enough power to claim our buildings, so they eventually get griefed. I have asked staff members if they could give power to my faction but they refuse and say let it regenerate. I have had a few factions and I used all my power, and it didn't regenerate. And if it did, not quick enough.
Thank you for reading this

I have this same problem. I don't like complete strangers in my faction. Hell, I wouldn't let most of the active players on the server into my faction (Futuretiger is an exception). Like Alyse, I need more power at times also. And if the staff didn't know, power doesn't "regenerate". You have a set amount of power for claiming and that's it. If you die, you lose power and it regenerates. But no more than the previous amount. |

Would there be a way for smaller factions to get more claiming power? |

When I asked James, he gave me about 160 more power, as I was completely out. I'm sure if you ask him he can do it for you. |

The amount of power (land claims) a faction gets depends logically upon how many members are in it, as more members requires more land for houses. This is to prevent abuse of one person creating a faction just to go around claiming land to prevent others from using it. If you require more land claims a member of staff should give you more power when they see what it will legitimately be used on.
Power is also not static and does regenerate over time while you're online up to a maximum of 10 per person. When you die you loose 4. |

I'd echo what Vulturboy said. When I built my mansion and it was griefed, some of the staff raised my "power level" so that I could extend the protection. Right now I'm working on a build that I hope will benefit the server a lot more than just having a mansion out in the middle of nowhere, and I don't think I could do that if I didn't have the increased protection. |
