henloi just wanted to hop on here to talk and thanks some people I guess i haven’t played on here in months and i haven’t been active in years and i don’t plan on changing that. but i was just watching this video https://youtu.be/zNZ1rq5kW4M and it got me thinking. i started playing minecraft 8 years ago when i was only like 7, and started playing this server in late 2012. it was literally my childhood. and i just wanted to thank people like luigi, lerz, even people like madzatthr, miss awesome 2 , alpacafarm, digswimminebuild, dan, loki, and so many more people I can’t even remember the name of. this server was so good to me. when i first joined i remember the old town we had on the sea side, with mad kitty kat’s huge mn |

woops accidentally hit post and i don’t have edit permsbut anyway i remember the old spawn town we had on the sea side, with mad kitty kat’s huge mansion and one of the admins at the time, letting me join his faction, which i thought was so cool, his name was something about skeletons or something like that?? if anyone remembers could u comment. our faction had a 3 story wooden base at spawn town, i remember getting food from the chest in the loft, i remember building my first house out of cobblestone. i was only 9 at this time and all of this was so cool to me. i know i was super annoying but everyone was still so nice to me fast forward a few years i met Markus, digswimminebuild. we were the same age, and we both loved the game. forming our faction Digtopia in 2014 was one of the best memories i have on the server. with every map refresh, it evolved, from a small town, to a huge modern city with an underground secret tunnel system, to a medieval castle, to a Greek-amphitheater centred city, to another huge city. our building skills evolving with the map refreshes, every time. when digs became less active, i took control of the faction, and eventually, we merged with wolf wind. but a few months before this, was the week of christmas in 2015. after my countless efforts since i first joined 3 years earlier, i was finally given trial mod. i can remember trying so hard for that, and wanting the rank a crazy amount. once i got it, i think i had one of the longest trial periods ever, i guess because i was replacing Lerz while he couldn’t staff for a month, and once he came back, there was no spot for me to get full staff. maybe 4-6 months later i took DCthanatos’ spot as mod, and i can remember at the spawn with the huge desert temple, seeing my name on that board made me so happy. i won’t lie, there were a few times i messed up and abused my powers. i built under someone’s claimed land, and that got me some of the most backlash i ever got as staff, in only the first few weeks. but despite this, i apologised, i hope atleast, and continued to help people as much as i could. there was a point where i gave so much effort into putting on this facade when being staff that i started pushing people like digs away, and the moment i realised that was pivotal. then, I started acting like myself on the server for the first time in a long time. i got promoted by admin, i can’t really remember the full story of how that happened, but i did, and around the same time, people started disliking me because i wasn’t acting the same. i guess they thought i was starting to put on a facade, when in reality it was the other way around. but anyway, this was around when i met people like Willis, alpaca and miss awesome 2. for the first time in a few years, i was having fun again. and i wanted everyone to have fun because i was actually happy on the server for the first time in a while. people like asriel hated me, although i still got him unbanned multiple times, because i felt he didn’t deserve it. i pushed to get madzahttr unbanned. because i missed when the server was simple, and minecraft was simple, and i wanted to replicate that. but other people didn’t like that. i might of made some toxic jokes, but i was happy, and my friends were happy. this eventually lead to many people disliking me, calling me immature. and i didn’t want to put on a facade again so i continued. eventually this lead to my demotion, because i began to get inactive. my friends stopped playing so i stopped playing, since i didn’t want to be in a community where i was hated. i hope this makes sense as to why ive stopped playing, and recently ive just felt like i needed to say thanks to some people, like i listed above. i miss when minecraft was a simple game, and when my life was simple to the point where i could chuck away 20 hours a week on this game. so ya thanks salutations |

Congratz on 6 years, you should come visit sometimes, you've missed a lot. We finally got the player count back up to it's old 20 - 30 earlier this year, and we have a fancy new rank for players who have been here longer than 3 years :> |
